2012 Mercedes B-Class Review: Dubbed a “quantum leap in the compact class,” the redesigned model measures 4359mm long, 1786mm wide and 1557mm tall. It has an impressive 0.26 drag coefficient thanks to “numerous optimization measures” that are a result of 1,100 hours of wind tunnel testing. Additionally, there will be an ECO Technology package – with a reduce ride height, underbody cladding and improved window seals – that lowers the drag coefficient to 0.24. If that hasn’t sparked your interest, there will also be a sports package which has modified dampers, a ‘Direct-Steer’ system and a 20mm reduced ride height.

There will be a new three-spoke steering wheel, also used in the CLS, including an insert in the center spoke that is always finished in silver chrome, an instrument cluster with four round, analogue displays, hanging needles in the 6 o’clock position, and seats with contrasting stitching to reinforce the car’s sporty image.
